Rutin penulisan Evanovich sangat ketat iaitu menulis lapan jam sehari dan 12 jam pada hujung minggu, memilih menulis dalam genre romantis, di samping khabarnya novelnya, Stephanie Plum bakal diadaptasi ke filem hujung tahun ini dengan Reece Witherspoon dan Katherine Heigl dikatakan antara calon watak utama. 

8. John Grisham 

BEKAS peguam ini tidak lari jauh daripada latar akademiknya dan dengan novel genre thriller kepeguaman, dia memperoleh RM45 juta tahun lalu. 

Novel karya Grisham mula memikat pembaca sejak 1989 dan hingga kini 16 filem sudah dihasilkan berdasarkan drama mahkamah tulisan Grisham. 

Ketika menulis A Time To Kill, Grisham memulakan rutin penulisannya bermula jam 5 pagi, namun usaha itu tidak memikat penerbit apabila naskhah awalnya ditolak, tetapi peristiwa itu tidak menyebabkan dirinya berputus asa.
